Wordgrid is a word-deduction game: somewhere in the grid hides a five-letter word, and you have six guesses to pin it down. Each guess is scored letter by letter, and those colours are the whole game — every row you spend should be designed to squeeze the most information out of the three verdicts.

• Green — right letter in the right position. It is locked; keep it there.
• Yellow — the letter is in the word, but not in that spot. Move it somewhere else next row.
• Red — the letter is not in the word at all. Stop spending positions on it.
• Guesses are not checked against a dictionary — any five letters count, so you can probe with whatever combination you like.
• Duplicate letters are scored honestly: the word only has as many copies to give as it actually contains.

Quick tips

• Open with vowel-heavy words — something like RAISE or AUDIO settles half the alphabet in one row.
• A second probe word with all-new letters often beats chasing one yellow too early.
• Watch the keyboard below the board: it remembers every verdict so you never re-test a dead letter.
